1,000 VOICES for the FUTURE is a virtual leadership campaign comprised of Empower Peace Women2Women Alumni, W2W-America participants & applicants and their friends.

With its first broadcast from Amman, Jordan on June 30, 2009, 1,000 VOICES for the FUTURE marked the launch of a global movement of young women who care about the status of women and girls worldwide and are working to make change possible. The second broadcast is set to take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from Boston, USA. (Click here for more information)

The free program is streamed live over the Internet so anyone who cares about the status of women can watch and participate in the discussion.

Each 1,000 Voices for the Future broadcast features prominent figures from around the world discussing the status of women and girls worldwide, the role that women and men play in advancing gender equality, and ways that we can make a difference both locally and globally. The viewing audience is able to instant message their questions to the speakers, creating a completely interactive experience.

1,000 VOICES for the FUTURE provides a unique opportunity for young women everywhere to learn from, and interact with, outstanding role models and to be inspired to bring about positive change in the world in which they live.
